These paintings come from a flight of inspiration embodied into this Seraphic series. A Seraph, "the burning one", is traditionally depicted with six wings and many eyes. This symbol originates in the Ancient Egyptian uraeus. The uraeus is the cobra on the pharaoh's crown, representing the unwavering focus and concentration that humans can embody. Inspiration doesn’t come on fleeting wings, it rises out of one’s effort to create.
